Synthetic Turf
AFE Sports has established themselves as the leader constructing high performance synthetic turf athletic fields by providing clients full turnkey construction capabilities from design, demolition, rough grading, drainage and base preparation, all the way through to finished synthetic turf installation.
The majority of our work is done in-house by our professional and highly trained staff using state-of-the-art laser and GPS guided equipment to complete your project quickly and efficiently providing a superior finished synthetic turf project.

Grooming
At AFE Sports, we understand that maintaining your turf is vital for maximum performance and the longevity of the field. Let us help take your turf maintenance to the next level with our deep cleaning grooming packages.
To provide optimal grooming, AFE Sports uses the Broce BB-250 Turf Boss Sweeper. This high performing sweeper is specifically designed for artificial turf and features:
- 100% brush visibility while sweeping
- Brush reverse control with the ability to maneuver around tight spaces
- 12” wide low impact tires, which leaves minimal imprint
Our grooming session includes:
- General sweeping with 8’ brush contact, to remove foreign objects such as dirt, leaves, bird droppings, gum and other debris
- Deep groom, sweep and rejuvenation to de-compact infill , which levels the infill and maintains appropriate G-Max specifications
- Overall analysis and inspection of the field and its applicable systems, including fiber wear analysis, ultraviolet degradation, infill depth and consistency, infill migration, field edging attachments, sewn and glued seams, line verification and field inserts (inlays). All above items will be detailed in a inspection report provided to the client
- Minor repairs (sewing/adhesive failures, inlay separation, and general workmanship) as needed
- Magnet run over entire field to extract foreign objects, which can potentially injury players
- Sanitization of field with Turf Fresh which is an organic, bio-degradable, non-toxic solution

The purchasing program allows our clients to get what they want when they want it at a negotiated price. TCPN is used by hundreds of municipalities and school districts in the state of California.

Lease-Leaseback (LLB)
The LLB Method is a project delivery method that enables a school district to act like a private entity.
Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
IPD is a method of project delivery tied together by a contractual arrangement among (at minimum) a owner, constructor and design professional that aligns business interests of all parties. IPD motivates collaboration throughout the design and construction process, tying stakeholder success to project success.
Design-Bid-Build (DBB) or Design-Award-Build (DAB)
Owner develops contract documents with an architect or engineer containing a set of blueprints and detailed specifications. Bids are solicited from qualified, licensed contractors based on these documents and contract is awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Design-Bid-Build with Construction Management (DBB with CM)
Owner will hire a construction manager to act as an agent with partially completed contract documents. As large portions of the documents are finalized, construction manager will solicit bids from qualified subcontractors, allowing construction to proceed more quickly and owner to share some of the risk already built in to the project with the construction manager.
